Is BuddyLog available on Android?
BuddyLog is currently iOS-only. If you'd like to see an Android version, let us know — demand helps us prioritise it.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored on your device. With a Premium subscription you can optionally enable iCloud sync to keep your data in sync across your Apple devices. We never have access to your personal data.
How do I enable iCloud sync?
iCloud sync is available on Premium. Once subscribed, go to Settings in BuddyLog and toggle on iCloud Sync. Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled on your device under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
How do I restore my data after reinstalling?
If you had iCloud sync enabled, your data will restore automatically when you sign in with the same Apple ID and re-enable sync in BuddyLog Settings. Without iCloud, data is local only and cannot be recovered after deletion.
How do I restore my Premium subscription?
Open BuddyLog → Settings → Subscription and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase.
How do I import contacts?
Tap the + button on the Buddies screen and choose "Import from Contacts". BuddyLog will ask for permission to access your contacts, then let you pick the people you'd like to add.
Can I export my data?
Yes — Premium subscribers can export their data as PDF or JSON from Settings → Export. This gives you a full backup of all your people, events, and notes.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual people, events, or notes from within the app. To delete all data, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Data. This action is irreversible.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
Please email info@buddylog.app with "Bug Report" in the subject line. Include your iOS version, device model, and steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots are very helpful.
